wah today is already the last day of may.. 17 and a half mre months to ORD.
still a long long long way to go.. zzzzz.... tt's abt 20% of my NS done.. lol!
now back slacking in the original camp. everyday getting an insane amt of rest. gg to have my very first guard duty next sat.. but no complains, managed to skip so many guard dutys le. lol! it's still very sian though..

had my first jump on the 29th. would say tt the experience is unforgettable. everything just happened so fast tt day and i still cant believe tt i did nt freak out when i jumped out of the plane. haha.. but it was actually nt as scary as i thought it would be. in fact, the jump was actually quite enjoyable. hope i dun screw up for the subsequent 4 jumps.

and here is the official apology to tang yuan yin for forgetting wad course she took. this is wad i guessed b4 getting it right. lol! those courses with the (X) are the courses tt i guess for fun only.

booking in tonight after taking the extra 2 days mc. guess i have had too long a break and it's now time to work agn. been sick frm thurs night to abt mon. missed the sentosa outing with the usual gang of ppl on sat..
=( hope i dun kena guard duty this weekend. X_X Dun wanna miss the class outing in the weekend.
there's a jump scheduled for us this fri though. hope can book out straight after completing the jump or wad. dun think i will be able to escape the jump agn this time. boo hoo hoo... it will be a hell of an experience....

late update: 16may2009. went to swee choon tim-sum restaurant to celebrate a belated mother's day. the food is seriously gd, especially the fried rice and the har gao. haha~

wad a slack week i had.. did almost nothing in camp for the whole week..

thurs: last nights out for the course.
went out with 3 of my camp mates to watch the movie taken. nt a bad movie, definately worth the $. the fun part of the night was running out of the cinema right after the movie to take a cab back to camp. chiong frm the forth floor to the taxi stand.. but we still managed to make it back to camp in time.. haha!

fri: book out plus supper with ex bunks mates.. ate sakae sushi supper buffet at marina square. it's been a while since we met up and thus we had a lot to catch up with.. hoho.. miss those times in the BMT..

sat: soccer with the usual grp of ppl in the hot afternoon sun.. after tt, some of us went to gab hse to watch soccer. witnessed a great fight back by MANCHESTER UNITED!! =DD frm 2-0 down at half time to 5-2 at full time! just love the way they up their tempo and fight for every ball during the second half. haha!

woah.. better start exercising now..

so many things i have been through.. it's amazing..
but the journey is still long. there are still a lot of things left for me to accomplish..

woah.. an army friend of mine rmb-ed me as some1 who jokes a lot.nt bad. can brighten up ppl's day in the army right?
i wanna be rmbed as the kai xing guo (happy fruit?) of the company.
the person who never fails to bring a smile to people's face even during the darkest hour of our army life.

damn.. why am i so unambitious? why dint i aim for the leaders course? why did i tell myself to give up right frm day 1 of my army life?

28 march 2008: went with the same old guys to ma la huo guo located at ard serangoon. we are a bunch of hungry carnivores. lol!

life is starting to get boring for me, especially after most of my beloved bunkmates left for their respective courses...

woah i survived the 8 days field camp! like finally.. must erase the horrible experience frm my memories. lol! nevetheless, had some enjoyable moments during field camp. and most importantly, it allowed me to see the true colours of some ppl..

Now tt field camp's over, i am only left with the IPPT and SOC to complete. hopefully, i can clear them by this week so tt i book out earlier and enjoy mre free time! =D

the feast mum prepared for me b4 i went for my field camp.. i love my mum!

booked out on the night of 19feb. went back to camp with my parents in the morning of 20feb for this parents-instructors engagement. the session lasted for abt 2 hours before we went to si ma lu to pray and have our lunch.

night time: went out with 23/07 clique to have dinner at bei sheng lou to celebrate joshua and shi min's birthday.

finally get to book out on sat. end of the confinement period for me, like finally.
NS is quite alright for me i guess. have some bunkmates tt joke ard to make life in the army mre relaxed and enjoyable.

somehow managed to lose 3kg after just 2 weeks. was rather shocked when the scale went below 60kilos for the very first time in like four years. hopefully i can lose mre weight and grow a 6 pac and mre muscles out? haha!

have this feeling of emptyness in me.. it's like i am wasting my time doing something tt i am nt really interested in and tt my life is a bit aimless now. guess my passion and interest is nt really in the military. nevetheless, shall try to endure through the whole process and hopefully pass out as a soldier tt my friends and family can be proud of.

hi guys! i signed up for a slimming programme and apparently it starts tmr. it's really gd for they provide free food, lodging, clothings and even give u a monthly allowance for u to spend! They give u a really cheap haircut too (i think it's $2) and the hair style is really fashionable over there since most of them are having the same hair style.
hahaah! so guys! dun have to worry abt me ya? lol!

today's already the 8th of jan 2009 and it's just hours b4 my enlistment. i wanted to follow gabriel and do a 'thank you to u my friends' list on my blog but apparently i dun have much time left.. argh! suld nt have done last min packing.. ahaha! but anyway, thx to all of u my friends who have accompanied me or encouraged me in 1 way or another. i will miss all of u. =)

anyway, come 9jan2009, i will be ready for u. all the gym trainings, 2.5, 5, 10 km runs have got my body all pumped up to face what would perhaps be the most difficult period in my life.
i will be ready, i will be ready, i will be ready come 9january. tt red thing tt i am fighting for, i will get u someday.

perhaps the best advice tt i will take in to tt place is frm my dearest uncle.
"dun be a hero." very true. i think tt at times, i try too hard to prove myself and to be the superman tt everyone would be proud of. but i am actually just a mere weak human being. i have my limits, i am nt invincible. this i have to rmb. dun push myself too hard and take a break if i really need to. =)

29 dec 08: went to minds cafe @ purvis street with some of my classmates.
only managed to play 2 games there but i guess we still enjoyed ourselves..

21dec2008: it's the semi final for the AFF suzuki cup between singapore and vietnam.
went to jalan besar stasium to buy the tickets on thurs with tiong peng.

On the day itself, we decided to go to the stadium earlier (like 2 hours before the match) to get good seats. kiasu us.. haha!

8dec2008: it's gabriel parents 20th wedding anniversary. we were invited by them for dinner at intercontinental hotel (i think). went to the hotel and realised tt the dinner is in the main ballroom and we were seriously under-dressed. most men were wearing blazars la.. lucky we are still kids. =D

the whole thing was very grand! look at the candles and glasses! first time dining like this. =x
